X-Fit, is a personal training boxing gym in NYC. Founded by former kickboxer, Jimmy Fusaro, he is able to implement unique forms of fighting for his clients and techniques to help them improve as athletes physically and mentally. At X-Fit Jimmy trains not only kickboxing, but also boxing, muay thai, conditioning, sport-specific conditioning, strengthening, and balance.

1 Hour Session: $100

You can split the cost with a friend. "Partner Training"

ARE THE WORKOUTS AT X-FIT YOUR TYPICAL BOXING WRKOUTS?  

No, you will not get a typical boxing workout here unless thats all you want then I can do that to.

Each training session is one hour long. Clients today want to try it all, and they don't have time to mess around trying to figure things out. That's why they come to me for Training.  

If Boxing/Kickboxing is what your looking for then we start with basic punchefollowed by a little reaction bag, and finish off with strength training, circuit training, and balance training. If Circuit training is whats and kicks and heavy bag work, then head into the ring for mitt work,  your looking for then I put you through a series of training on the equipment that I have built and I like to keep the action moving and let each part of the workout flow into the next organically—working on the area the client wants to better themselves in. As each client progresses, we move into more advanced training regimens.

WHAT ARE YOUR BEST SKILLS?

I have learned to listen to the client; to work with them not against them. 

 

YOUR EQUIPMENT IS VERY DIFFERENT FROM MOST GYMS, HOW?

Yes, I build most of the gym’s equipment—not all, but most. The ones I have built are used in the circuit training, rehab, core strength, and sports training. 

 

WHY?

To build more muscles and increase flexibility and quickness, and really working the body and mind as one, from different angles, at a good pace. There is a method to my madness.  Try it once and you will be a believer!

 

WHO DO YOU PREFER TO TRAIN, BEGINNERS OR EXPERIENCED CLIENTS?

Everyone to me is an athlete, and they come in all shape and sizes!  I enjoy the challenge of working with everybody and anybody. 

IF I DON’T WANT TO BOX OR KICKBOX DURING MY WORKOUT, WILL YOU STILL TRAIN ME?

Yes, not everyone wants to punch or kick.  With 30 years of training experience, I have learned a lot about people and their wants and needs, and I can design a workout that will suit anyone. 

 

I have been around a long time, and I have seen all of the latest fad fitness gurus and celebrity trainers come and go.  I'm still here doing what I do best, and what’s best is listening to the people who come in.  You tell me what you want, and I will deliver it.
